These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PorchList, operated by PorchList Inc. ("PorchList", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use PorchList.
PorchList is a private community platform that allows homeowners, realtors, contractors, and HOAs to share trusted contractor recommendations, communicate within invite-only neighborhood communities, post updates, organize events, and run polls. PorchList is not a review platform, a marketplace, or an advertising network.
You must be at least 13 years old to use PorchList. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 13.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@porchlist.io if you suspect unauthorized access.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Impersonating another person or business is prohibited.
You may not share your account credentials or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.

Contractor rankings on PorchList are determined entirely by community recommendations and votes from real users. Contractors cannot pay for placement, boost their ranking, or remove negative votes.
By recommending a contractor, you represent that you have a genuine first-hand experience with that contractor and that your recommendation is honest.
PorchList does not verify contractor licenses, insurance, or qualifications. Hiring decisions are your responsibility. We recommend verifying credentials independently before hiring.
Communities on PorchList are invite-only and private. Community administrators control membership and are responsible for managing their community in accordance with these Terms.
By joining a community, you agree that your profile information and content may be visible to other members of that community.
PorchList may remove or moderate communities that violate these Terms or that are used for harmful purposes.
You retain ownership of the content you post on PorchList. By posting, you grant PorchList a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the platform for the purpose of operating the service.
You are solely responsible for your content. Do not post content you do not have the right to share.
PorchList and its logos, design, and original content are owned by PorchList Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding, trademarks, or proprietary content without our written permission.
PorchList is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the platform, including contractor recommendations.
PorchList is not responsible for any transactions, disputes, or issues that arise between users and contractors. We are a platform for community recommendations, not a contractor directory, marketplace, or warranty provider.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PorchList Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including damages related to contractor work, disputes between users, or reliance on community recommendations.
You may delete your account at any time in account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use PorchList ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Davidson County, Tennessee.
